OH. HELLO THERE.
Are you lost? I certainly hope not. Let me clear the air: you can call me Master of Ceremonies. Or MC, if we're friends. I'll be your guide here in this peculiar place. Just follow the sound of italics and you'll be fine.

This place - The Cryfield Echo - is an archive to adventures and mishaps of a crew of somewhat-supernaturaly gifted investigators searching for truth in a City full of Dangers and Mysteries. But it also tells a story of five friends playing out these adventures as a season of City of Mist.

What's City of Mist you ask? Well my friend, City of Mist is an RPG game following stories of ordinary people imbued with mythical powers. These people are called Rifts. And The Cryfield Echo (yes, just like that newspaper you've seen homeless people give out in front of subway entrances) follows a group of very particular Rifts: Eddie (Rift of Nyarlathotep), Nathan (Rift of The Dragon), Freeda (Rift of Nix) and Rupert (Rift of the Pied Piper), who are occasionally joined by Scarlett (Rift of the Little Red Riding Hood) when circumstances allow it.

And as they are fighting for their lives in the City, Kapik, Pida, Terka, Tom and Pavel are sitting around their table, munching on chips and sipping on soda, rolling the dice and generally having the time of their lives.

The characters will have to face mythical vilains and terrible dillemas putting their loved ones in grave danger; the players will have to endure up to 9 hour sessions of roleplaying and arguments about rules they definitely should have checked before playing.

Also some smarter dietary decicions might be in place. Next time less chips, more fruit, alright, people?

What challenges will they meet along the way? How will their story end - and by the time it does, what will they have become? We don't know. And the only way to find out is to keep playing.

So welcome and enjoy! If you've never heard of City of Mist before, check it out over here. It's the amazingness of this RPG that made us put this project together in the first place. And if you're ready to see what awaits our characters (and the players!) in the midst of the City, well... no point in wasting any more time, is there?
