These three detectives are the foundation of what makes Cryfield’s Police department so… well, ineffective, cold-hearted and inevitably corrupt through and through.
Not that APA, as they are sometimes called by the Crew, would be bad at police work. Quite the contrary, they can be an unsettlingly effective team. It’s just that more often than not they have other interests in mind than the City’s.
Whose, you ask? That probably depends on who pays the most.
After they’ve crossed paths with the Crew in E02: Killing Her Softly, these detectives formed a careful relationship with the Crew member Eddie after… well, you know, that incident in the interrogation room. But it’s honestly just a matter of time before they get tired of jumping to his whistle. Sooner or later the Crew will have to learn to what powers these three actually serve.
In the finale of E04: Fridge Bound, the Crew stood in direct opposition to the three corrupt cops after working the entire case with them. It turned out that APA was leading a drug trafficking operation with a group of corrupted policemen from Cryfield's precinct and used an eldritch Relic of a fridge capable of making any evidence disappear. The Crew revealed this conspiracy and in a brief moment of triumph got APA behind bars with the help of now detective Jerry "D'Artagnan" Elderberry.
